Esophagogastroduodenoscopy and intestinal biopsy is only way to have solid confirmation for celiac disease and to have sosial security benefits in Finland.
I don't want to scare you who are going to endoscopy but you should know the facts. I think I have a quite high pain threshold and tolerance to different things, but this esophagogastroduodenoscopy was one of the worst things I've ever experienced. It was close to get it done at once.
What kind of experiences have you had?
