Approx 250 g potatoes (3 mid-size)
Approx 1 1/2 litres water
200-250 g buckwheat flour
1 bag of pitted prunes (220 g)
3 dl dark syrup
1 dl flowing honey
1 1/2 ts salt
1 - 1 1/2 Tb bitter orange peel
Washed and grated rind of 2 oranges
1. Boil and puree plums. Collect the juice.
2. Boil the potatoes and puree.
3. Mix the remaining ingredients with plums and potatoes. Add water or plum juice to get a rather loose mass.
4. Cook in 180-degree oven for about 1.5 hours.
5. Cover the pans with baking parchment or foil for after-ripen.
6. Offer "mämmi" with milk or cream milk.
